While I was in Puerto Rico, Kuta went to stay at Rancho Robin (my moms house) and he just returned home today. We all know how much Kuta loves to roll in the dirt after bathing, but he like to kick it up a notch while at my moms ranch. Kutas favorite pass time at Rancho Robin consists of jumping into the horses water trough and then roll around in horse poop….FUN! Kuta knows that getting wet first really makes the horse crap stick to him for a long lasting Eau de Crap…He’s so smart!
Once upon a time there was a dog named Monkey. Monkey gets very nervous when riding in the car. Can’t you tell?!
Actually, Monkey’s two favorite things are riding in the car and sleeping. Wait, actually I think sleeping and farting tie for 2nd place on Monkey’s favorite things to do list.
I snapped this picture of Monkey sleeping during a car ride to Mexico. And, yes, she was farting too. I think Stefan and I invented a new game called, “Who Can Roll Their Window Down Quicker”….
Check out how cool this horse is. Her name is Matine and the rider is Andreas Helgstrand:
How cute is that? That horse is totally dancing! Awwwww….
My mom is a crazy horse person and went to Vegas to see a dressage competition, so she was all excited to see the horse in the video above (Matine). Well, unfortuntately, after the owners of this horse chartered a non-stop flight from Europe for the horse, someone forgot to put down rubber mats and the poor horse slipped and fell while getting off the plane and was unable to compete. Matine was the shoo in to win the competition too, which had a $100,000 prize. How pissed would you be if you chartered a flight for your $9 million horse and some bonehead forgot to put down some rubber mats and injures her?! Luckly she’s going to be okay, but she was not well enough to compete in Vegas.
So back to how crazy my mom is. Here she is with the “famous” rider Andreas Helgstrand. My mom’s a horse groupie…haha
My mom just sent me this photo from way back in the day (1993?).
Here is my mom and I surrounded by 3 litters of Australian Shepherd puppies. My mom bred Aussies (On “Q” Australian Shepherds) to feed and clothe her children, so we ALWAYS had a litter or two around. It was actually pretty cool because we would get to play with the puppies when they were the cutest and then send them off ot their new families. Not to mention, that there are approximately $9,000 worth of puppies in this pic…Cha-ching!
The youngest litter of Aussie pups in this pic is on top of the hay stack and they don’t even have their eyes open yet (so they are less then 2 weeks old). Too cute.
This photo also serves as photographic evidence as to how I became a crazy dog person…
In an attempt to cheer me up, Stefan sent me a link to this video of fluffy little Australian Shepherd puppies:
It worked .
It reminds me of when Kuta was a puppy. I would carry him around with me everywhere and everyone would ask me if he was a rabbit. He was quite a cute little fluff ball …
Did you know that last year over 100,000 horses in the USA were killed for human consumption! Americans do not eat horses, but for some reason we kill them and ship the meat to Europe and Asia. I don’t necessarily agree with the slaughter of any animals, but I had no idea that so many horses were killed and that horse meat was such a big export. Gross.
If you’re interested in helping to stop the slaughter of horses, you can do so here:
After my discovery of pandas in Atlanta, my mom emailed me these ridiculously cute pictures of the 16 baby pandas that are currently at The Sichuan Wolong Panda Protection and Breed Center in China.
Talk about cute overload! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I want 16 panda cubs please !
