Let me be the 1st to tell you that I hate politics/politicians. I have never voted in a political election, nor have I even bothered to register to vote. Not because I’m lazy, but no presidential hopeful has EVER struck me as being worthy of my vote.

With that being said, I registered to vote today. I honestly think that Barack Obama can change America for the better.
I saw a “life story” type documentary on Barack Obama’s childhood and I wish I could find it to post here. Obama has so much more to bring to the table then someone coming from the typical affluent, rich, white, family (like every other US President).
The only thing I don’t like about Barack is his logo…It reminds me of the Pepsi logo

It looks like you are going to have to vote for both of us. Residents of Puerto Rico can only vote in the Primary Elections, not the Presidential Elections.
Whoever takes over is going to have a big mess to clean up.
I’m basically in love with Obama. I feel like yeah, he might not have all the “political experience” that the others may have… but I believe a MAJOR thing our country needs right now, as a society, is some damn inspiration. We need to feel good about respecting our President, not ashamed of him/her. We need to feel like a truly united country again… and we need to feel like… we aren’t completely hopeless. Also, I’ve read a lot of forums on the net where foreigners say they would respect our country again if we had a President like Obama; someone worthy of respect. Some even said that if he is President it will make them wish they were American–crazy!
And I believe Obama has the qualities that could and would do that for us! On top of that, I also LOVE that he isn’t from the typical political, rich family. He’s experienced REAL life, like the rest of us damn peons.

Agreed on the logo front, it just seems to be missing something, like someone has airbrushed something out of it.
I’ve been watching a crazy illuminati conspiracy dvd from my elder brother, which tells us that there are secret signs in loads of logos. Apparently the S shape in the Pepsi logo is a serpent symbol put there by aliens from Atlantis. Completely bonkers, but a great story…or is it?

I loathe politics… Obama’s the first candidate I’ve ever supported in my life.
I’m actually working in the San Juan campaign office as a graphic designer, donating the cost of my labor to the campaign. Every little bit helps.

Bulbboy – Yep, Obama’s logo definately looks incomplete to me too. I can’t wait to see the Bulb Boy logo!

I’ve actually done two main variations for PR… a generic one with the PR flag that’s actually getting used on local campaign materials

My wife actually became a caucus delegate for Obama. The Nevada caucus was a complete madhouse. McSame being elected would be another 4 year of Bush light.
